Am I missing something? This is supposed to be some super baddass weapon but in the material plane as soon as I get hit I lose it which (if there is nothing else around) leaves me with nothing to kill my enemy which means I have to go back to the Spirit plane, get juiced up, find another portal, switch back to Material and start over. Of course what happens is I do all this, rush back in, get slightly touched, lose the sword, and start all over.

Seems like kind of a useless piece of shit to me. :P
The series doesn't always make too much sense, in the original Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain, Janos Audron apparently had a couple of millions heart scattered throughout Nosgoth. :P

As for the Reaver, this problem is resolved in Soul Reaver 2. I think SR1 was also originally supposed to have Reaver upgrades that took care of this but the game was costing EIDOS too much time and money so they basically force Crystal Dynamics to release it half-finished... and yet it's still one of the best games ever made. <3

XD Thanks. I still love the series but you hit it on the head, "...doesn't always make sense..." :D
