Hey guys, I bought this game to run it on my netbook, It runs perfect on y desktop but I wanted something good on the go,

My netbook has:
Windows XP Pro SP3
Intel Atom 1.66 GHz
2GB RAM (5-5-13 CAS)
60GB SSD
384 MB Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3150

The games minimum requirements are:
Hardware Requirements System: Pentium III 700Mhz or Athlon XP or equivalent
RAM:128 MB RAM
Video Memory: 32 MB VRAM

So I guess you could say I have more than enough minimum requirements, (cadillac of netbooks) but still the game won't even start.

Does anyone have a clue why?
Perhaps start in safe mode? but how?

I'm guessing that the most likely problem is lack of hardware T&L. But I checked the benchmarks for that card and I'm afraid that even if you managed to get it to work there is no way you would get a playable framerate.
Yeah that GPU is just not designed for gaming. You are only going to be able to play really old 3D games and 2D gaming.

If you look down the page they threw a bunch of various random games at it, and it was only able to play one of them and that was 3D game from 1999. The rest were slideshows or wouldn't even boot.

Soul Reaver 1 MAY run, they say Torchlight runs ok it seems, You are going to be wanting to looking at even older stuff like Diablo I and II..etc or very very low requiring newer games. Torchlight was designed to work on as many machines as possible. If LoK is what you want on there, you might also try hunting down a copy of Blood Omen 1, that would run on there.

I'll try LoK: Defiance on my netbook at home. Considering the fact that it ran Torchlight somewhat well, I ought to be able to run Defiance, rightt? Right? :D
