Hello GOG community!

I'm pondering if I'm going to purchase this game, I recall playing a demo maybe 10 years ago on PSX that I enjoyed which may have been the prequel of this game. However I never got around to buy it.

Does this game support binding joypad /gamepad keys? (standard windows gamepad)
Can anyone who's purchased it please check and post back here?

Please also specify your gamepad!
For example I own, XBox 360 Controller + receiver, Logitech Rumblepad 2

Thank you for your time :)

Best Regards
Nick
There are many threads about gamepads here. In short - they work but do not support analog sticks. So for example for Rumblepad 2 you will have to either make a profile in Logitech Profiler or just disable the analog stick before running the game (mode button on the gamepad) and use a D-Pad.
Well Paradoks, that isn't very specific. I recall controllers NOT working for LOK: Soul Reaver 1. At least, not the Xbox 360 controller. The analog sticks would cause Raziel to continually run in random directions. And the only way to configure it was to use non-native software, like ControlMK or Pinnacle Game Profiler. You should probably mention that.

What about LOK: Soul Reaver 2? Does it have native controller support? Personally, I loathe dealing with ControlMK and Game Profiler. It's a pain. It's just a dumb workaround for something that shouldn't be a problem in the first place - Crystal Dynamics put the Soul Reaver games on PS1, Dreamcast and PS2 in addition to PC. Clearly, they have nothing against controllers. I am baffled why there's no native support in Soul Reaver 1. But I'm scrubbing through this forum looking for info on whether or not they repeated that mistake for SR2, and I haven't found anything yet.

Btw, GOG, if you're listening, the "series" thread is a bit misguided if you ask me. I wish I could just search threads relating to SR2 since I already know SR1 does not support Xbox controllers natively.
