I bought the Legacy of Kain bundle a while ago and I'm just now getting around to playing it. I finally got around the terrible gamepad support (Games fault not GOG's) as well as installed the srhook patch and gotten the hardware acceleration run in 1920x1080. The whole shebang. I see people talk about popping and crackling but those are the only sound issues I can find solutions for. But I'm not having that problem. The sound keeps cutting out after a while. I don't know if this has to do with the patched .exe but I believe the problem occurred well before I patched it.

After about an hour of game time or simply dying and then going back to the physical realm all of the sounds stop working. they don't necessarily stop playing though. it's weird. the sounds only play for less than a tenth of what they should. It sounds like a skipping audio cd. The background sounds and menu clicks work fine it's just any sound effects like Raziel's wings and hitting an enemy. If any of you have encountered this problem or better yet fixed it I would Love to here from you guys!

I'm running Win7 with an intel quad core processor and an amd radeon r9 280x as well as realtek audio drivers. I don't know how much of that affects anything but I figure it might give some necessary information.
