I tried the game for the first time today and I like it alot so far, reminds me of Stardew valley which is one of my my favourite games. I did however experience a bug where the game hardcrashed when I tried to open the recipie book while cooking, it did save not too long before so it fine but I just thought that id let you guys know.

Been playing this game for a few days, noticed a couple of bugs/issues:

1) DOG ...

As other people have found, my dog sometimes finds 'dig spots' that are unreachable or are simply invisible/non-existent.

I also thought he'd disappeared completely at one point (after I'd spent a night exploring outside the Vale) because he wasn't in my house. However I found him at the bottom of my farm near an exit. I guess he decided to take himself for a walk while I was away. ;P



2) My game closed when I tried to forge a copper sickle at the Candlewych Blacksmith.


...Number 3 isn't really a bug. But I got stuck with the quest to learn to cook until I actually cooked on Mother Hubbard's(sp) stove. Then it was 'completed'. If this is intended and the player has to cook with her stove, maybe that should be mentioned in the quest dialogue?

Also, I know the save system is still a work in progress but an option to save when you want to would be nice (like by sleeping or interacting with a 'diary').

Shaping up to be a fantastic game so far though. I'm really looking forward to more. *_*

- The plants I planted 3 years ago are still growing after 3 years (maybe they were replanted in the meantime, so... ok I guess :D )

- He had a ! above his head during this scene. I talked with him, and got an error message.
- Clipping door. My dog is under it. The roots of this tree were also clipping.
- Clipping bushes.
- Digspot spawned on top of an already used digspot

1) Unless I'm missing something, I can't seem to use the copper sword inside Simplewoods. I can put it on my action bar, but I can only throw it, drop it or put it away. I tried pressing E but It just put it away. (EDIT: Nevermind, I see this has been addressed elsewhere!)

2) Able to harvest wheat from my field when none is currently planted (but had been in the past).

3) Dog can't path into Poppyhill: he gets stuck at the bridge.

4) Telling the dog to stop following me in Candlewych village (afte he had 'frozen' for no reason) resulted in a route error popping up at the bottom of the screen. Sorry I wasn't able to catch the phrasing of the error. I had to get my dog to follow me again in order to get him to move again.

I have a bug with the task "get a sickle from the black smith"

I gained some water-walking abilites. Only worked on this one lake though. I entered the lake from south.

Hi. First I have to say thank you for working at the fable series. They were one of my favourite game series.

Now to my problem: I have when i start the game a white screen and i don´t know how to fix it. I can hear the music but the screen stays white.

It would be great if there is a solution about that.

A couple of new bugs (new to this list at least)

I'm playing from a save from last week. No message that the save is bad. Got that last week I think and restarted. I have the Kynseed planted. I spent the night at my house. I get up in the morning, walk out and stand in front of the cow. There is a green mark above the cow. I press 'E' and the game crashes.
Correction: Seems to do the same on the Pig. I'll try to start a new version from the beginning.

Also, just south of the copper mine, north (sort of) from the blacksmith shop. There is a fence. It looks like you can walk just south of the fence, but I could not. I did walk along the north side though until I got stopped on the west (left) end. Then I was able to go south (through) the fence. There I was stuck. I could move, but I could not go more that a few steps and could not exit from that small space.

I did get out of there somehow. Not sure exactly how. Maybe exited game and went back with my last 'save'.

Be nice if each time you posted updates on GOG you could update the versions, even if you don't report the fixes. That helps me keep track of when the game has be patches, updates, etc.

Sadly, talking to any kind of animal causes an immediate exit to desktop.
