Byeohazard: Still no luck wit this one. Not a big deal if the rest of the game works fine if just Esc. the cinematic get by the crash. More of a challenge for me to try to figure out a fix...but I am stumped. I even tried setting cpu affinity for the game in task manager but it is already set to 0 by default.
I've been beaten! Anyone ever figure this out? It is definetly right at the transition from "pursued by something out of a nightmare" into the chapter 1 book. Thought it could be sound drivers but did not see any options on setting sound or video options.
