First let;s get one thing straight - this game isn't for everyone. If you don't remember it from the time it first came out, chances are the graphics will prove a big turn-off. The landscape is barren, and the smudgy photo cut-outs of the characters - while revolutionary at the time - have aged particularly badly.
Now that we got THAT out of the way
This is one of the most nail-biting exciting, intelligent, compelling stories ever served up as a computer game. Yes, it might even outclass Fallout. The characters - wile being 2d cut-outs, are living, breathing, fully-fledged people. The story is rife wit treachery, treason and twists worthy of a good thriller. And, most importantly, it's long and rich: so rich, you hardly ever get to play the same game twice.
This, along with Might and Magic is what got me into RPGs in the first place. And, seeing it again after so many years... I know I'm still in love.
