When I try to right click my character, then click on inventory, I get
"an error has been detected which prevents the game from continuing"

Same goes for when I right click a dead enemy. This leads me to believe the something in my inventory is crashing the game. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get around this? My bookmark save is too late and id really like to not have to start the previous chapter all over.

I tried restoring the rtkrondor.ini file back to its default. I tried moving from my win 7 laptop to my windows 8 PC. I tried installing and running launcher.exe as administrator.

Which chapter are you playing?

edit the dosbox.conf to make dosbox not close on game exit so you can see the error message

@Garran: The crash occurred towards the very end of chapter 5. I remember it being 2 "circles" away from Widow Point and it would crash when I would try to pick up items from enemies. I moved on and bookmarked. Now in chapter 7 is where the crash continues to occur if i check my inventory or click on dead enemy.

@oasis789: I believe dosbox.conf only exists for Betrayal At Krondor, not Return to krondor. I can't find dosbox.conf in RtK.
