Hi,
I started to play this game and I would like to ask you for a few adivices for the beginning. At first, the Health. I fought some battles and searched one dungeon and my men are on the bottom line with their life energies. Where can I get some new lifepoints? Sleeping gives me one or two points per night and I need around 100 points. It's the same with the life vials. So now, I can't go anywhere, because there is an enemy in each direction. Where to get some bigger amount of energy?
And the second question - how is it with trainings? I received some suggestions in dialogs to learn some new skills like armorcraft, but I had to refuse because of lack of money. But the teachers don't want to teach me anymore. Will I be able to learn them later?
Thank you.
If your characters are defeated in combat, they'll have the "near-dead" (? - it's been a while) condition applied to them, which slows their healing quite a bit. To remove this, use an Herbal Pack on each afflicted character. You can find a lot of items just by being observant - click on any boxes, chests, corpses or piles of dirt (it means something's been buried there) to search them.
Training - you can usually go back and get it later, within the same chapter. Once you leave the chapter, the same options will no longer be available (though new ones might be).
Hope this helps! You can always start over if you're really, really hurting for health.
[Edit: suddenly I realize I assumed you were talking about Betrayal at Krondor, the first game in the series. Not sure how much of this applies to Return to Krondor.]
