Hi!

Can someone tell me whats the difference in the gameplay if i make a warrior or a strategist character? In Konung 1 i see some options and it seems that in the game itself you can build a team of characters that you can semi control. Is it possible to finish the game with a warrior character and or add skills to control more warriors later in the game? I've read somewhere that there are big battles so now im in a loss which character to choose and how to build it. Konung looks like a blend of rts and rpg. Smells a bit like Rage of Mages to me gameplay wise.

Thx for help in advance! ^^
Hi,

Each class uses one of their character attributes as main attribute: Charisma, Strength, Dexterity, Vitality

Leader = Charisma
Warrior = Strength
Hunter = Dexterity
Merchant = Vitality

Highest level you can reach is 13, so your available "XP" points to spend will be limited. I don't exactly understand the system, but the more points in an attribute you have, the more "XP" it will cost to upgrade it higher. The hero's main attribute is always cheaper to upgrade than the others.

Here's a table of highest values (before item bonuses), hopefully it will be displayed properly:

.................Leader Warrior Hunter Merchant
Charisma....105........42.......42..........42
Strength.......42........105......42..........42
Agility...........42.........42......105.........42
Endurance...42.........42.......42.........105

Charisma allows you to recruit more people into your party, random guide on the internet says +1 party member every 10-15 CHA.
Str allows you to wield better swords and shields and increases your damage.
Dex is for better bows and helmets, and apparently should help avoid getting hit.
Endurance is for better armor and axes, and also increases your maximum carry load, and apparently lowers the amount of damage you take from enemies.

Now to answer the question, yes, any class can finish the game. There are magic items that boost your attributes as well as permanent effects like the blessing, so pick whichever character you like the most :)
