its on sale but some of the reviews said it was unplayable for win 7, those were dated early 2017. I was wondering has this been fixed yet?

this is late reply, but if anyone still wondering,
no, it's not fixed yet. You still have to fix audio track issue as mentioned in forum posts.
on the other hand after fix it works for Linux (wine 4.2x win XP compatibility).

The first time you launch the game on Windows 7 x64, nothing happens.
To fix it, open up your task manager (Ctrl+Shift+ESC) and there should be KONUNG.EXE running. Kill it.
Now launch the game again and it will work.
PS: Installing this redistributable seems to have fixed it for me. I don't have to do the task manager trick anymore.

- Select any folder - it will extract the actual installer there.
- Navigate to the folder you selected, run DXSETUP.exe and install it.
