Just a note, I started playing Sierra On-Line adventure games back in 1990 at the age of eight. I'm going to buy the KQ, SQ and QfG series (again, since my old floppies are long since magnetically corrupt) and play them (again; I've played every game in each series). I'm mostly interested in KQ for KQVI, which is of course one of the best adventure games of all time.

So yeah, topic title. Will the GOG release of KQVI work with ScummVM right out of the box? Yeah yeah, I know, no DRM, usually the exact same files as the originals... but does it?

It should work. Just point ScummVM to the directory that KQVI was installed. If it's missing any files, it should let you know.

I can confirm that it works and is completable.
