I think I've found a way to fix the flickering screen issue, some users may experiment on NVIDA cards, other than rolling back to older drivers of course.
My basic issue was that the screen started to flicking after approx 10 mins of gameplay. I got on the NVIDA panel and set the multi graphic processors acceleration to compatibility mode. It looks like it corrects the problem to a certain extent since I had 30 mins of fun without issues. However the game keeps having a few lags when I use the 2d hero screen. I'll continue to test during extended playing periods to check if it's realy the way to fix the problem, others ideas form more experienced graphic tweakers are of course welcome.

I got rid of mine by disabling anti aliasing on the options menu, been playing 2 hours plus each time and having no problem, sometimes minimal texture flickering does occur on the spells menu, but not so major that it corrupts everything on screen like before.
This is using the latest whql driver on my GTS 250, Windows 7 x64.
The new nvidia beta drivers 260.63 completely fix any flickering or crash issue on my pc, now I can safely turn on Anti Aliasing. I've been playing for 4 hours and not one flicker is present, even in the hero/spell screen!
You can download it here:
