The GOG version re-reckoning save games aren't easily edited like they were in the regular version.
Finding Inventory limit with a hex editor and changing the 2 bit pointer to a slightly higher value, saving it
and loading up that save. Every time the game sees it as a corrupted save file.

Could this be an intentional limitation by the game developers? I notice there's virtually no save editors available.
Is there anyone that knows how to raise the inventory limit of Re-Reckoning through hex editing?

There is some additional CRC32 check (see: https://github.com/mburbea/koar-item-editor/issues/58#issuecomment-691484815).

Here is Kingdoms of Amalur (Re-)Reckoning Save Editor which can change inventory limit:

Thanks for that.

I discovered a way with cheat engine: in Gorhart at first of game, and anywhere else where a merchant sells backpacks, before buying the backpack, input current limit search with cheat engine. then purchase the backpack. do a second search for a number that 10 higher. bring down the single result and change it to any desired inventory size. an inventory limit of 500 probably will never be over filled.

This will blow your mind: it was posted on steam and works with re-reckoning. Takes some getting used to and learning how to navigate the different sections. What really surprised me is showing all locations towns, most of them with teleporting activated in all areas (Reckoning default area, Teeth of naros, lodk, etc.

In some of the pages, on the right side of the screen is a list of options. For the PC, you can scroll the options with the Num Pad Insert key.
