Have you been putting magic point(s) into "Mysteries" at Sacred Time in the beginning of the year? Then make sure you are sacrificing enough to the deity that you are hoping to get the mysteries from. If it is war/violent type god (Humakt, Orlanth, ect.), they prefer cows, and if it is a peaceful type God (Chalana Arroy, Urlada, ect.), they generally prefer Goods. It is usually okay to mix the items of your sacrifice a little, but favor they type of sacrifices according to the God. I have found that if you have a least a point or two in Mysteries at Sacred Time, you can sometimes get away with 10 to 12 items to sacrifice, but if you have already sacrificed once in the year, or only 1 or no points in Mysteries at Sacred time, better up that sacrifice to 14 items for a good chance of sucess. Of course it is random whether the Gods will reward you with a mystery or blessing, but soon enough you do get mysteries revealed to you, if following the above.

In eight years, if you have been allocating magic to mysteries At Sacred Time, and not "cheaping out" on your sacrifices, you should have had at least one or two mysteries revealed to you by now. Hope this helps...good luck!

As the game advices at some point, sacrificing less than seven units of anything but thralls is pointless under any circumstances, and going a few units over is a good idea.
Thanks guys. I will keep trying then when I get the time to get in the game again.
