When the mouse cursor reaches the edge of the screen in any direction, it gets stuck and won't move for between 5 and 20 seconds.
I often have to click repeatedly, press ESC a random number of times and/or wait before the mouse cursor starts moving again. (I can't tell whether any of these actions actually help, I usually just do them out of frustration.)
Nothing else pauses or hangs while the cursor is stuck and there are no other side-effects. If I left-click while the cursor is stuck, Kathy will try to walk to the edge of the screen at which the cursor is stuck, but usually that is not enough to get the cursor moving again.
I'm playing Kathy Rain v1.0.2 (GOG-7).
