I am looking to run the game with better screen resolution but when I start the game it drops into full screen mode, thereby pixelating the game screens. I know my PC can do better graphically, but when I try to switch screen resolutions the screen shrinks to a quarter of the size. Does this version have a resolution toggle I can change?

I'm not sure if you're talking about Buried in Time or Legacy of Time, but both games are 2D prerendered games, not like newer 3D realtime games. So it's going to get pixelated in fullscreen. Unfortunately there is no resolution toggle.
