Which type of merc can use a mortar, and how do you use it?

You need a mortar shell to use a mortar and you use it just like any other weapon, like grenade launcher.

That's funny, because I tried to have a marksman specialist use it, w/ him equipping the mortar, and carrying shells, but somehow can't use it for some reason.

That's weird then. Could you show a picture? Make sure that the mortar is repaired.

Were you just carrying the shell of have you loaded the mortar?

I had one person carry the mortar & the shells, but it still didn't work. I haven't tried loading the mortar, but will try it the next time I give DG a go.
