I just recently started getting this warning while playing JA2. When I quicksave, the game tells me I have 13.4 kb (or mb) of memory left, and it needs 20 to run. When I quicksave that number drops. It is at about 12 now.

My worry is that when I run out I won't be able to play, since I am so close to beating this game for the first time restarting would really suck, so any assistance would be great.

I couldn't find any threads that talked about this, so sorry if one exists already.

Have you had the same problem with quicksaves?

p.s. I'll mark yours as a solution since it is a valid workaround and you were nice enough to reply, but if anyone can find a way to prevent the quicksave feature from mucking up I would greatly appreciate it. Just hitting alt-l when things go very wrong as they often do is convenient.

At some point I had issues with quick save too and stopped using it.
Using the normal save prevented the problem.
