I'm having some trouble on mission 6 of the Interstate '76 campaign, it's the one where you need to get gas. I can make my way to the gas station, watch the cutscene, but when I regain control of the car after that, the game always crashes after about a second.

I've tried d3d, glide, and even the totally bugged out software mode, but it's always the same. Any suggestions?

My system:
Windows XP
Intel Q8400
ATI HD4670

Edit: I don't know what specifically fixed it, but I got past that part by running the launcher with CPUGrabber. I still got several random crashes after that (that I never got before), but still managed to complete the game.
