I just finished the Jeep Trek level, and started Teotihuacan. Upon starting the level, my inventory has been cleared. I have the whip, revolver, and lighter. Nothing else, not even the chalk. When I press K however, the chalk still works. Pressing L for the lighter though doesn't. Considering you need the machete to clear a spider web soon after starting the level, this seems to be a game breaking glitch. Has anyone else ever encountered this? I didn't see anything similar in the other forum topics. Any help would be appreciated.

I fixed it. I'm not 100% certain this is what caused it, but here's what I did. I loaded up Jeep Trek again and did a quick run through. Only this time, I didn't grab the gas can off the back of the Jeep, as you don't need it in the level. I ran to the end, triggered the cutscene, and ended up in Teotihuacan again. And this time, my inventory was fine. So if anyone else runs into this problem, try doing Jeep Trek again, but make sure not to take the gas can off the Jeep.

Thanks for the fix. I have found out that it's sufficient to put the canister back on the jeep. So if you have a savegame late in the jeep level you can just put it back and continue (worked for me),
