Hello community!

I just bought Indiana Jones - Fate of Atlantis and I am having a hard time getting the voice overs to play. Does anyone know which configuration I have to set on the SCUMMVM emulator to get voice overs? From the videos that I've seen on YouTube there should be some.

I am running the game on Windows 10 64 bit if that helps any.

All the best,

J

Same problem here. No voiceover :-(.

Lubuntu 18.04, i3, 8GB
The only version in which the characters have voices is in the English version. So one has to install the version in english and change the subtitles. To do it in Spanish, one simply has to download this patch and run it in the game folder:Patch for spanish subtitles

Despite being created for the Steam version, it works for the GOG version :)

Maybe there is some way to do something similar with the versions in other languages.

Thanks, I have the english version bought through GOG.com. I tried several types of configurations but I can't get any to work with the voice overs. I can get music, but no voices.

Any other ideas?
If you have all the files needed (MONSTER.SOU, ATLANTIS.000, ATLANTIS.001) and the game is correctly identified by ScummVM as "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis (CD/DOS/English)", you only need to make sure to pick either "Speech" or "Both", in the Text and Speech option, in the Audio tab, within the game config.

If that does not work, there is something wrong with your files (doubtful if ScummVM detects them correctly), with ScummVM itself, or with your PC or OS.

I run all Scumm games from GOG, and older versions I own, from a single ScummVM installation, in Win 10 Pro, with no issues.

Of course, also check "Speech volume" in the Volume tab.
