One of the first missions. I'm supposed to dock with the derelict ship (the Pressburger), but it's in motion so autopilot cuts out immediately. Tried remote link. Tried docking using the C-section but nothing, What's the solution?
edit: oh, shoot, it's not Salvage it's Routine Patrol.

Make sure you've correctly set the Pressburger as a target. It's easy to select it on the contact list and think you're targeting it, when you have to press the / key to get a lock.
Pressing F8 should then dock with it.
The game's docking code is normally very good, so otherwise I don't see why you can't dock with it.

Your wingman is fated to die. You can't do anything about it unfortunately.
