Hi all,
Just thought I'd share this little solution with the lateral thrusters in I-war with the x52 joystick.
As you all all guess the controls and the sliders on the throttle are the problem. However, if you go into the X52 profile software you can set these sliders to Banding mode. This means that each slider is split into thirds and a key can be assigned to each third.
For example ; throttle 0-33% - Z reverse thrust, throttle 33% - 66% no control and 66-100% - A Forward thrust. This was if you leave the throttle in 33%-66% (ie Neutral) then the laterel thrusters don't fire.
You set this for each of the sliders that control the lateral thrusters and hey presto - One Dreadnought Corvette under complete manual control.
I'm working on a x52 profile and will post it as soon as I'm happy with it.
