Okay, so I've been playing tons of Elite: Dangerous and have recently gotten an extreme hankering for Independence War again. The last time I played the I-War games I only had basic setups and had to tweak the deadzone in the control config to get the level of responsiveness I wanted. A recent Google search has showed people using analog inputs for lateral thrusters, but I don't know if those threads in various places were talking about I-War 1 or I-War 2. I've got axes U and V applied to my Throttle ministick, Slider0 bound to my toe brakes via CMS scripting as a single, centered axis, and the throttle wheel on the Fighterstick bound to Slider1... mostly for scanner range fun in ED. :P

So uh... yeah, any editing wizardry I can do to use all the buttons and all the axes (well, maybe not Slider0/1, though, mostly just wondering about the throttle ministick) in both I-War 1 and 2?

You could try UCR (Universal Controller Remapper).

That's, uh... literally not what I'm asking for. CH Control Manager does everything UCR does.

I'm asking if it's possible to use more than four axes (I-War games have at least X, Y, Z and Rx) and, if I can, program the extra axes.
