I'm playing the Solarian campaign and right now I have to research the thermo cooler. The funny thing is: It won't show up in the reseacrh menu. Apparently this is a bug already present in the android version. Can anyone confirm this bug or am I doing something wrong?

I've only played the Terran on the android version personally, it goes kind of like this:

you start the game, start exploring, you get your first message, pirates have been found and rumors of a place called "tor" if I remember right, they want you to investigate and get rid f the pirates, they are bad for business..

so you find the planet tor where the pirates are and send your ship there with a small fleet, the pirates pass you on the way, you find you can't attack the planet at all, and your there and they are on their way to your home planet.

when they get there, though you probably created tanks they are no where to be found..

you get rolled over with a tank.

after losing that way about 4 times I quit trying, this IS the android version "ported" BACK to PC..

fleet vs single tank, tank wins.

Starting quests vary between plays.

I have same problem,, no info on what is needed to research Thermo Cooler is available...
