I'd have expected at least a minimal response back from my support email to GOG concerning my inability to play this. I've bought 50+ games from here in 2 months but none since this game. I'm just loathe to spend any more here if the support is not there. Ah, well-it was fun while it lasted.

Wow 50 titles here (I only have 6 game titles so far from this site) .Don't give up as perhaps iL-2 1946 doesn't like to run with your specific hardware.I've purchased games before that didn't like the hardware that I have had in the past.It's a pretty rare occurrence though.
That title (I won't mention it here) required a Intel CPU and didn't like AMD CPU's.
I just held on to it until I had a system that could run it.
