Hi I just downloaded IL2 1946 version 2.0.0.6
I get 4 files
setup, - 2,405 Kb
*1.bin, - 1,526,900 Kb
*2.bin, - 1,529,297 Kb
*3.bin. - 924,918 Kb

When I run Setup I get an error that -4.bin is missing. I have redownloaded and I still get the same file sizes.
If I renumber the files 2,3, and 4.bin then I get an error that the files are not correct.

can you suggest how I can fix this?

Your download isn't complete. The installer consists of five files, see attached screenshot. If you've downloaded it with GOG's Downloader, try downloading the files manually from the shelf. Maybe the Downloader mixed something up due to the ongoing unbundling of games here on GOG.
