i have the same problem.
i downloaded the newest version, but no response from sturmovik on my joystick (also the rudderpedals are not recognized).
both work perfectly in flightgear and other games.
i havn't installed an older version of sturmovik yet, but who knows what the cause of the problem is??

i.m. usin a dark tornado (flichtstick)
and thrustmaster pedals
Have you checked in the options that the rudder is bound to the correct axis?

Hi,

I had this problem - to recognise your joystick in "input" menu - you need to properly assign its axis within bottom section of "controls" - (HOTAS section). The problem is Windows adds ID to each connected device.

Idealy you will see it switching from "Axis X" to something like "Axis X-ID2" - and then it will miraculously start to work within input.

Yes, it's not very logical, no it is not user friendly, but it is how it works :)

Of course, thats what fixed it for me, your mileage my vary...

EDIT: Lol came here year later to confirm this solution and thank the user, only to find out it was me who posted it :)
