Hi guys,

I launch the program, shorty the hourglass, nothing...I'm close to tears...

Setup:

Win 7 64bit
E8400 - 3.0 GHz Dual
Radeon 4870 1GB
4 GB RAM
____


- Downloaded all 4 installer files + 1 Univ. Update
- Didn't install in Program Files (I chose C:/Games/IL-2 ...)
- Tried the explorer shutdown .bat -> nothing
- Compability modes -> nothing
- Install/Run as admin -> nothing

I just want to fly :(

Have you ran the IL-2 setup program to configure your hardware?
It normally should run for the first time, maybe something went wrong configuring it.

Yes I did. Tried different settings, but no success...

At the moment I'm redownloading all the files.

Further ideas are really appreciated.

[edit] Redownloaded everything. Doesn't launch....

Don't really know anything else, except to turn UAC off.

Contact support if nothing helps.

I agree with Strijkbout, contact support. If I think of anything, I'll post it. If support solves your problem, would be interested to hear what it was.

Turn off any antivirus programs such as Microsoft Security Essentials.

And yes, try turning off UAC and run the setup utiity for the game first. If you still have problems even with your anti-virus software turned off, UAC off, please contact our Support department :D.

Maybe set compatibility to WinXP??

Contact support. That's your only option now. It seems like you've did everything under the sun to run it with no success. Bummer.
