Hi,

I bought this tonight and as I go to play it, AVG kicks off with a warning.
'C:\Program Files\GOG.com\IL2-Sturmovik1946\il2fb.exe'
Trojan warning, file infected and deleted.

Please tell me how to get a working version of this file, I have paid for the game!

Thanks
It's almost certainly a false alarm by your anti-virus, reinstall the game and don't let your anti-virus delete the exe (set il2fb.exe to be a 'safe' file).

You can also contact AVG to tell them they have a false alarm - unfortunately such things crop up from time to time. My anti-virus thinks Patrician 3 has a virus in one of its game assets (it doesn't, the anti-virus is simply overprotective). The only thing GOG can do is likewise tell AVG that they have a false alarm with IL-2.

Essentially the game is fine, it's just your anti-virus protection being overprotective. :)

No worries, I understood what you meant. :)

Honestly it's likely that AVG will do nothing and the anti-virus will continue to generate a trojan warning for IL-2, but it's worth a shot to let them know they have a false positive and you never they might do something.
I use AVG and I've installed the game and patchs and play online and off and have never had a problem with AVG. And this over 3 computers since I started playing. Most peculiar.

and now It seems that AVG will show false/positives. I'm having that problem with something now I know is virus free.
