I've played through Targos a couple of times, and got well into Ch2. I thought I had a good grasp of the basics, and was playing on the second most difficult level.

After installing this module I'm stuck on the docks. After taking the healing potion to Reig the next fight blows me away every time. The wraith is immune to all except slashing weapons, and my level 1 wizard and cleric run out of spells before they can do much damage. The ranged weapons (slings, bows and crossbows) are ineffective.

Please help!

My party is:
Paladin (human)
Barbarian (half-orc)
Fighter (dwarf)
Rogue (elf)
Cleric (elf)
Wizard (halfling)

Most of the characters have been min-maxed to a fair extent.

Read the readme:
"If you find that the new foes are too tough for you, try talking to the people in town. They may have things to help you out. "

Ok, I'll follow up on that. I was getting a little obsessive about this encounter..

OK, I've read all the files available and I'm still getting nailed in the warehouse. I've got the mace with bonuses against undead as well as all the scrolls that I could find. The mace was enough to deal with the wraith, but even with the scrolls the cleric is disabling my party before I can do much. Then the archers move in for the kill.

The "Hints" file says that the warehouse should not be a problem. So I'm obviously doing something wrong.

None of my party can cast the "Wall of Moonlight" scroll, but the other two I can use. Their range seems to be very short, so the cleric and archers are out of harms way.

I'm curious. If you are having so much trouble, why have you installed a mod the makes the game so much more difficult? Persistence will get you through it, though I wonder why you have installed such a mod and then seek help from a forum. I don't understand...

Maybe I like to bite off more than I can chew :) I may take the advice in the readme and play through the whole game through before coming back to this.

I was getting bored trying new parties in Targos and wanted to crank up the difficulty. Yes, I can put the slider right down and beat it, but I wanted to hone my skills.
