Hello!

I'd like to play ICEWIND DALE with an already built party becasue I have no experience in this type of game.
ICEWIND DALE 2 has some already pregenerated parties to choose ... so I need to know is there is a way to export them and import them in ICEWIND DALE; oherwise can you suggest some site where I can find these parties?

Thanks in advance!

Roberto
You can't.
The two games don't even use the same rules. IWD1 is 2nd edition AD&D, while IWD2 is 3rd edtion AD&D.

I believe the game comes with some pregenerated characters that you can use (you have to choose Create character when starting a new game, then choose Import). Not sure if there's a site where there are pregenerated characters you can import into your game though.

You could also check This Thread to see what other people have played. And feel free to ask for advice to tweak your party if you need it.
The rule sets, as PetrusOctavianus pointed out, are greatly different, as are the engines that use them. Both games have a set of pregenerated characters, designed for their specific engines and rule sets. All you have to do is import them during character creation.

Regarding Coelocanth's idea about sites with pregenerated characters, check out Sorcerer's Place. They have a lot of mods for all Infinity Engine games.

Nitpick time! :D
There is no such thing as "3rd edition AD&D".
AD&D - Advanced Dungeons and Dragons - is D&D's second edition. Then there are D&D's 3rd, 3.5 and 4th editions, so the third edition is not AD&D3ed, but D&D3ed. Just D&D.
