Hi

Just purchased IWD2, installed it and tried to play it. After opening the .exe file my PC is working, before I get an error: Icewind dale II has stopped working. The only amplifying info is given through a appcompat.txt -file.

I have tried following the guidelines on gog.com, but nothing works:

Installing DirectX 2010 - not working
Running in admin mode - not working
Running in comp mode with XP SP1 - not working
Adjusting video/audio in config - not working
Updating my Nvidia GeForce GTX 660M - not working
Deleting the Ddraw.dll - not working
starting in windowed mode - not working

any ideas?

Are you using unsupported resolutions? The game's config would tell you what these are.

I have tired both supported and unsupported. Same result.
