So after browsing a few forum topics about getting IWD2 working on Windows 10, I finally have it booting properly. However, now my mouse is having issues when in-game.
In the main menus, I have no problems. As soon as I click an option or load into the game, however (pretty much any time there is something actively "loading"), my mouse does one of two things. Either it disappears completely and I have to guess where it is on the screen, or else it simply drags through the game window and I can see my desktop or whatever other open windows there are behind the main one. In either case, the mouse still functions. I can click, my party will move and perform other actions, I can click menu buttons, etc. Mouse is still functional, but graphically bugged.
There is no visible DDraw.dll in my directory, to fix my issues with starting the game to begin with, I just ran the setup-ddrawfix application and forced the DirectDraw Emulation. So if it is something to do with that, is there another way to tweak/fix it without reverting back to a state where I can't get the game to work entirely?
Thanks for any info, and apologies if there is already a thread about it. I didn't come across it in my (albeit brief) search.
