My game loads fine, but as soon as I, or my fiance, try to create a game, nothing shows up. As soon as we click "create game" and launch a "full game" it just turns into a black screen with a "waiting" icon, with nothing else, no matter what we do. This happens on my machine, and my fiances.

We both have the exact same specs:

Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 2.50 GHz
Windows 7 64 -Bit
Nvidia GEforce GTX 550 Ti

Where did you install the game? If at the default location, I suggest installing outside Programs or Programs(x86). Something like C:\Games.

Run the installer as admin. As well, run the game as admin.

I did as you suggested and I tried doing it first without running as admin..and it worked! I saved it to the Games folder instead of program files, and it seemed to do the trick :)

Thanks!

No problem. Glad it was an easy fix. Something to keep in mind for Win7 is that you should install your games outside of the Programs folders, since the Windows security permissions often interfere with the games (as you noticed). It's a real pain in the rearend unless you install elsewhere (I install all my games on a separate drive altogether).
