Does anybody have Dale Keeper 2? I badly need it, but can't find a download link anywhere in internets. Somethink that works similar also will be appreciated.

I've picked up viruses from sorcerers.net twice now, so I don't use it anymore. It's probably mostly safe, but I know I'm not the only one.

It's the advertising. That's always a malware vector when outsourced. I won't use sorcerers.net either, unless absolutely necessary.

Thank you for this.....three days now I have tried to figure out what I was doing wrong before I finally noticed that I was trying to use the original Dale Keeper rather than Dale keeper 2 for Icewind Dale 2.....duh....so thank you for fixing my problem

Regarding the claims about viruses above, I would like to explain that certain virus scanners erroneously flag various hacks, mods, editors etc. as containing viruses. For files on Sorcerer's Place, these have always been false positives. Unfortunately many virus scanners don't fix false positives even when alerted to them, so that's out of our hands.

Just to make it clear that all the content we upload is always checked beforehand. Issues with ads normally don't go beyond some of them not displaying properly either. If anyone encounters a more serious issue, we definitely encourage people to report it so that we can identify and remove the offending ad ASAP.

No, you are wrong. To be clear, it is not the files that are infected but the advertising that gets injected into the web page. I have picked up confirmed (by various virus scanners and VirusTotal) malware on more than one occasion. None recently because I won't use sorcerers.net unless absolutely necessary.

It's obviously futile to argue over this point since you're convinced that you're right, so I'm just going to say that thousands of people are viewing the site on a daily basis and if anything of the sort was happening on more than an isolated incident basis, we would be getting complaints and reports from people about it left and right. Dozens of thousands of websites are using the same advertising providers as we are, so there's really nothing special about the ads on SP. You are, of course, free to not use the website if you deem so fit, I would just kindly ask you (and anyone else) to report to me if you actually encounter anything problematic instead of posting unsubstantiated claims here. It's obviously not in my interest to have even a single bad ad anywhere on the site, but I can't really do anything about issues that are not brought to my attention at the time when they occur.

That's because I am right. Hundreds of thousands of people also get infected every day without realising it, and an isolated incident is still an incident. Don't try to cover things up with blarney.

If you say so. *sigh* I'm not covering up anything. I am merely allowing for the possibility that you have encountered a bad ad. Among thousands in rotation, the possibility of a rogue one is always there. Same as with everything else in life. Random forum posts about how someone has picked up a virus somewhere are not really proof of anything but the fact that someone believes that what they've written is true (or not necessarily even that). Same as the hundreds of e-mails I've received over the years from people mailing me about viruses in various files on SP. All of them were convinced that they're right. Fortunately, they were not. The overwhelming majority was simply not familiar with how common false positives are with the files I mentioned. There are still plenty of our visitors who don't use them. Still in the thousands. Uh-huh. It would have taken you just as much time as posting about it here, with the notable difference that it would actually have helped.

Seriously, though, what's your problem? Do you not protect your PC against middle-of-the-road or worse malware? I have never picked anything bad up from Sorcerer's Place, and my job requires that this PC not have AdBlocker on it. The guy admitted the site can have bad ads, and that's not a secret anyway. Most people are not having trouble browsing SP.
