Soon there is going to be a hot date setup by Hotline Miami, but while other retailers are selling some DRM along with it, one of them (GetGames) is throwing in a bonus level. We don't get a soundtrack, or some other little fancy extras, that are usually provided here. It's somehow sad to look just for those bonuses, but most of the time you get some of them here.

What's your opinion on this? Do you just don't give a damn about those little treats and only care for the game itself, or are there some out there who pitty the value compared to others?

We do get that poster, which I plan on taking to a professional printer to get an HQ version of.

Personally, I think that GetGames is the best place to buy the game thanks to the extra level, but I've never bought there and didn't feel like setting up an account at my time of purchase.

I only care about soundtracks in certain instances, but this would be one of them given how awesome the music has been in the previews. I'm hoping that GOG will add that as a goodie sometime after release. It would be understandable if Devolver didn't want these assets available before the game comes out (given the fact that they are easily copied and can be downloaded prior to the release date)

Actually, the developers of this game cannot provide a soundtrack per se, seeing as they're using songs from a variety of artists. Cactus does plan to put out an an official track list with links to places where you can get all the songs in the track list.
The lack of DRM makes up for the missing bonus level and soundtrack, imo.
Wish more new games were released on gog.
Good news: the music is stored as loose .ogg files :)

You should post a whole new thread about that. :)

Awesome! Soundtrack goes a long way to prove it's point. This game is really something else.
Soundtrack to this game is incredible, already had the main menu and apartment music in my collection, horse steppin and deep cover by sun araw, awesome artist.

sounds like its time for some file conversion!
You do know that OGG is a lossy format, and by converting it to another lossy format (eg MP3) you're gonna make the quality of the sound worse, right?

Unless you're gonna convert it to a lossless format, but that would be pointless as the quality wont increase.
