hello dear fellow gamers!

Today I wanted to play hitman 1 (codename 47) for the first time. I installed the game but the resolutions are odd. there is no standard full hd resolution and no 4k option. I downloaded the widescreen fix from pc games wiki and installed it. Now I there are no black frames at the left/ right side, but the frames go crazy.

Nvidia control panel doesn´t do anything and is not able to limit the frames for me, when using the widescreen fix. using the game as downloaded from gog, I can limit the frames with nvidia control panel - but there are the black frames left and right.

following the instructions on pc game wiki and editing the mentioned file with my 3840x2160 resolution, it doesn´t work either.

As of now, I have to decide between a freak-resolution but fullscreen with about 144 fps or capped 60 fps but playing like on an old tv with black bars right/left of the screen...

it´s not satisfying and I already downloaded/installed/edited the game about 10 times, today

I´m very happy if there is any solution for my problem
