Unfortunately it does not work. The Mod has to be updated by the author before it will work with the Chronicles executables.

How do I make this mod work with Heroes 3 Complete?
I DLed, and extracted like he said, but I have no idea how to make it work :(

Edit: Never mind I figured it out, I was DLing the little fixes, not the actual mod!

Do you know hoe to contact the author of the HD Mod? Or any other way to make Chronicles widescreen?
