Yesterday I played Heroes of Might and Magic 3 for the first time. I was instantly hooked and played hotseat multiplayer with a friend for an insane amount of hours.

Today we tried to play a match over the internet, using Hamachi, but we could not join each others matches. We tried the TCP/IP-option, connecting to the IP of the Hamachi-network we created, and the IPs shown ingame, still no luck. There was some other available protocols there, like IPX, but i'm not sure if they are still in use. We both use Windows 7 64-bit.

So, is there any easy solutions for playing HOMM3 over the internet?

Thank you, it worked! Took a long time to answer on this thread because the first friend I tried to play with gave up after the Hamachi attempt, but me and two other friends tried playing over Gameranger yesterday, and it worked on the fhe first try :)
