When I try to run the game, it shows up in task manager as well as it takes up CPU time but no game shows up, windowed or fullscreen.

I have tried reinstalling already, as well as switching resolution down as far as it will go. Running Windows 10, AMD graphics up-to-date.

Try the Dosbox version instead of Windows.

Is that a separate download? I've tried the version I have installed and it said it couldn't be run in DOS.

Never mind, I got the DOS version and it's working just fine.
