Can anyone confirm that the "armorer bug" has been fixed in Heroes Chronicles?

(It is an enduring bug which make heroes with the Armorer secondary skill take additional damage from arrow towers during castle sieges - also affects the spell air shield negatively).

I could check for you, but I'm not sure how to do it properly, since it doesn't have a map editor.

I'll look if there is a good spot to test it. But if you have a good suggestion on an easy way to do it, let me know.
This is an example of an attack of a hero with expert armorer.

Based on that can you calculate if the bug is present?

Thanks for the effort, I appreciate it.

To be honest, I'm not sure my math skills are good enough to reach a conclusion based on the screenshots you provided, so instead I made a little test of my own.

I placed Tarnum and another hero with identical Defense skill (9) outside a Castle occupied by the AI. Tarnum had Expert Armorer, while the other hero did not have Armorer at all. I then made a series of attacks on the castle, alternating between the two heroes, but each time giving them identical armies.

No matter how the armies were made up, Tarnums troops always took more damage form the arrow towers. I know this cannot be considered an exhaustive test, but on average Tarnums troops took about 20% more damage from the arrow towers, and this has lead me to conclude that:

a) The bug is still present in Heroes Chronicles
b) During siege attacks the armorer skill works opposed to how it was intended, increasing damage according to the level of Armorer instead of decreasing it.

You've probably seen this already.

So it's really a question of finding these 3 values in the exe and modifying them to multiply instead of divide.
Yes, I have seen that, but I haven't been able to find the relevant hex values for the Chronicles version.

Well, that's something to do if I ever have some spare time. I'll let you know if I ever find anything.
