I was just going through and updating my backups of my GoG games as I periodically do. I noticed that GoG had broken up game bundles into individual downloads, which is irritating and a bit of bloat usually but whatever, or at least those were my thoughts until I got to Hero Chronicles.
So... my old out of date, or so GoG insists, bundled install file is 657 meg. Each of the eight new individual chapter files are over two thirds of that size, totaling 3.49 gig.
So my question is, beyond breaking up the game into individual chapter installs, was even one thing changed or improved to justify my replacing my svelte consolidated 2.0.0.38 installer with near to three extra gigs of files?
There is no changelog at the time of this query.
