I never heard about Heros Chronicles until the release here on GOG.
Could someone till me how difficult it is compared to the original HoMM3?
I loved the base scenario i HoMM3 but the expansions were very difficult and I didn't get far in those. Wouldn't want to buy Chronicles if they're also very hard.

Heroes Chronicles is based largely on the Shadow of Death campaign, which allowed you to adjust difficulty settings. If you had trouble with the difficulty in the original games, it was likely due to the fact that you were not allowed to adjust difficulty settings, and while the early scenarios were set at the lowest difficulties, the later scenarios were generally set at higher ones (the last scenario was always at the hardest difficulty). Of course, with Chronicles that shouldn't be a problem since you can adjust difficulties all you want :)

The Chronicles are extremely easy in comparison to the expansions. You will have no problem at all with them if you beat the original Restoration of Erathia campaign.

I can't agree with you. The Chronicles campaigns I played were easy even on Impossible. There are a lot of resources lying unguarded so you don't loose very much by starting with 0 resources...
