Hey gang,

When I try to launch the game (whether directly from my Desktop or through Galaxy), I get a black screen for a moment, then a message "HWR.exe has stopped working." Windows tries to get it to work for a couple of seconds, then it flips to a generic "A problem caused the program to stop working" message. I've tried all the generic fixes, i.e. running it in admin mode, trying all the different permutations of compatibility options and settings, uninstalled and reinstalled, restarted computer, no dice. Does anyone have any ideas?

Running Windows 8.1 on an Acer Aspire laptop.

Same problem here, I get a black screen and after there's music playing in the background for like 10 seconds followed by the message "HWR.exe has stopped working" and I'm running the game on windows 7

Same here. Windows 10. Have tried on multiple computers with similar settings.

Same here. Tried all of the above aswell. Nothing works. First launch I got to the menu screen before the HWR.exe message came up. Now the screen goes white and then the error pops up
