I reached the part where you see Senuas's mother being burned alive because of her father, and then you start running towards that naked guy in the distance has you fight a bunch of enemies. The problem is that when i reach the part where you fight the Crow like enemy and the beast again from the level before, the game crash's, with the following error that a steam user also has, see the link below.

Device Lost error

Hope that someone finds a real solution to this, because right now doesn't seem i can finish the game, and next to the audio syncroniztions problems (and serious audio crackling if i push the video settings up) i'm really becoming desapointed with this game, even tho i love the rest of it.

My PC:

Intel i7 860 2.8Ghz
8GB RAM
AMD R9 270X 2GB
Realtek HD Audio ALC 1200

It seams in my hastiness to complain, i forgot to see how old my drivers were, after updating my drivers to the new version the crash doesn't happen, the audio sync even tho is still bad is much better then before, lesson learned always update your drivers. Was able to finish the game, that end made no sense to me tho.

I am having similar issues, haven't even been able to start playing. The game loads to the main page where you see Senua's face and options and then it crashes with fatal error: low level fatal error render thread time out. I'm gonna try your advice. Thanks alot for posting your issues and suggestions.

It's an Unreal Engine 4.15 known bug... there is no fix unfortunately.
Sometimes shows up in your variant "render thread time out", but it's still the same UE4.15 bug the root cause.
You can find more infos about this kind of errors at: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/drivers/display/tdr-registry-keys
