I recently got an arcade stick but have found that it won't work with a number of games from GOG, Hammerwatch included. The buttons are recognized, but not the joystick. My 360 controller does work just fine, and the game plays well enough with it, but I was really looking forward to some Gauntlet-style arcade hack'n'slash action, so if anyone has an idea about solutions, please chime in.

Well, I bought a new stick that allows switching inputs, so now I've got compatible hardware. Kind of odd to me that the game doesn't support movement rebinds, but no big deal for me now.
How did you get your xbox360 pad to work with it? Mine isn't recognized it seems (but my wireless one is giving me issues, it doesn't turn on well and not for long).

edit: whatever, I got it. Wireless is just half broken, bad quality Microsoft.

My Xbox 360 controller works flawlessly. However, I have no sound other than the occasional bleap. I've already contacted support. Hopefully, I will soon have sound. I hope you get your issue solved soon :)

Try avoiding removing the battery "pack" in order to turn it off, it doesn't appreciate it: after a time he contacts will be pushed back or bent and you'll have to bend them back in order for you pad to stay on. FYI

Wow, I do that all the time. Good to know! If only they gave you an "off" button on those things.
