Hello, I am trying to get Grim Fandango Remastered to run on my sister's laptop but an error comes up every time saying: "OpenGL features aren't available".

My sister's laptop is using an AMD Raedon HD 6770m GPU and I just updated the graphics driver but it still comes up with the error. What else can I try to fix this? Any advice would be great.

Please make sure video card supports OpenGL 3.3 and update your drivers and try again. If it doesn't work after updating your drivers it means that your video card does not support OpenGL 3.3.
I have checked the GPU's stats and it says it supports OpenGL 4.1. I have tried to update the driver again and its still saying it's up to date but still doesn't work. thanks for replying so quickly, but I don't know what the problem is. :(

Send us a Support ticket with your DxDIag attached please :)
Grab Driver Fusion from here :

http://treexy.com/products/driver-fusion

Just grab the free one.

Uninstall the graphics driver and then run Driver Fusion removing every last bit of it that remains.

Now restart the PC and try re installing the driver and see if that works. When installing it I would suggest doing Custom Installation and making sure that everything is checked for complete install.
On a laptop with a 635M which supports OpenGL 4.4, graphics drivers fully up to date. Same error.
Shall get a support ticket sent.

EDIT - SORTED IT.

The game was trying to use my integrated card not my nvidia one.
To change this open the Nvidia Control Panel, go to Manage 3D Settings, then the program settings tab. Find Grim Fandango on the list (or add it to it) then tell it to use the High Performance Nvidia Processor.

If you are using an ATI card, have a google and see how to do it.

Hope this helps you as it did me.

Is it possible that you are using a laptop with switchable GPU (integrated and dedicated) and either the laptop or the game "sees" the integrated one instead of the dedicated? Is there a choice in your bios to use the "Discrete" mode for the GPU (instead of "switchable")?

Thanks! Had the OpenGL problem and didn't know what to do, but your solution worked! ^_^
