Char is at L20 and this started recently. Names of loot disappears when char is close to it. Shows when char is about 20 feet away. Its the reverse of what its supposed to show. You can see the loot sparkles. Problem is in the game save. New game works and old save works. So somehow I hit a key that reversed the normal show. Hate to abandon my L 20 char.

Check if you changed something in the keybindings in the Options Menu ingame. Also check the loot filter that something hasn't been ticked. And verify your game files.

Did that. Swapped the keybindings file from a different char. Didn't matter. Its in the savegame file. When your distance away the loot description shows. As soon as you get close it vanishes. You can still see the sparkles. Somehow i hit a key that controls the distance away the loot description shows. Can't continue like this.Too much PITA to gather loot..

Far as I know there's no key that you can hit that affects visual distance.

Have you tried using Alt, Z and X to see loot on the ground? They show the different colour levels.

They work only when you a distance away . Had to start over with a new char. I have this talent of finding weird screw ups. I got screen shot of the Nomad down in a vault in ME andromeda. Try that one.

I got it fixed. Reinstalled a newer version of the game. It was a bug. Give me a homer simpson DUH !
